Shane’s Portfolio Site
My name is Shane Clark and I welcome you to my portfolio site. I developed this site because almost all of the web developers I know have done wonderful work for others and have never taken the time to develop something for themselves. I wanted something I can build on and display all the work I have done as well as share new discoveries or technologies I have come across. This is a very exciting time in history as far as our utilization of technologies goes.
I believe that technologies can provide opportunities for individuals that would not have existed as recently as 10 years ago. I have been able to work in six countries and feel that I have a very good grasp of how business and technology can be utilized most effectively. Feel free to contact me with any questions, comments, or concerns you may have. While I may not be able to take on all projects that come my way, I can be a very good resource in figuring out the best option.
I built this site with all of the SEO tools that I have used on the sites I have developed for my clients. I plan to use this site as a test case as far as optimization for a personal portfolio site goes. As I find more time I will add more custom plug-ins and content. The site itself is built on WordPress with a custom plug-in to display the portfolio section. I’m currently working on something that would allow me to display my website and projects under a category system.
Shane made making a new website easy and affordable. I put doing this off for several years because of the frustration of all the many companies promoting their company and not telling me how easy it would be. I saw many samples of websites he designed and saw how professional they all were. It was a very fast process and he stayed on top of me to get the needed information to them and responded to me very quickly when I wanted a change made.
